Ταυτόχρονα με την ερμηνεία των πιο γνωστών soundtracks στην ιστορία του κινηματογράφου, θα προβάλλονται εικόνες και στιγμιότυπα από τις ταινίες των Sergio Leone, Federico Fellini, Giuseppe Tornatore και Francis Ford Coppola, δημιουργώντας μια ανεπανάληπτη εμπειρία.

O Ennio Morricone, ο Ιταλός συνθέτης και μαέστρος που μάγεψε με τη μουσική του το παγκόσμιο, κατά τη διάρκεια της καριέρας του κέρδισε δύο Όscar, τρία βραβεία Grammy, τέσσερις Χρυσές Σφαίρες, δύο βραβεία Ευρωπαϊκού Κινηματογράφου – Χρυσός Λέων και πολλά άλλα, και έχουν πουληθεί παγκοσμίως περισσότεροι από 70 εκατομμύρια δίσκοι του. Οι συνθέσεις του έχουν συναρπάσει ολόκληρες γενιές και καλύπτουν διάφορα μουσικά είδη, καθιστώντας τον πιο σημαντικό συνθέτη soundtrack όλων των εποχών.

Το αφιέρωμα στο έργο του που θα παρουσιασθεί στο Θέατρο Ανατολικής Τάφρου είναι ένας φόρος τιμής προς τον μεγάλο συνθέτη.

Το συμφωνικό σύνολο Le Muse από την Ιταλία αποτελείται αποκλειστικά από γυναίκες μουσικούς οι περισσότερες από τις οποίες προέρχονται από τη φημισμένη ορχήστρα “Rondo Veneziano. Πέρα από την πλούσια εμπειρία τους σε όλες τις πτυχές της κλασικής μουσικής, διαθέτουν μια ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση στην ερμηνεία των συνθέσεων του Ennio Morricone, η μουσική του οποίου είναι ευρέως γνωστή για την ακρίβεια και την ευαισθησία της στην περιγραφή εικόνων.

Το παραπάνω αφιέρωμα πρωτοπαρουσιάσθηκε το 2016, μετά από την βράβευση του Ennio Morricone με το Oscar και έλαβε την Υψηλή Αιγίδα του Προέδρου της Ιταλικής Δημοκρατίας γι’ αυτή την παράσταση ως το πιο αντιπροσωπευτικό αφιέρωμα στον μεγάλο συνθέτη παγκοσμίως και έχει έως τώρα παρουσιαστεί σε πολλές χώρες της Ευρώπης αλλά και σε Αμερική και Ασία

Ιδιαίτερη θέση στην Ορχήστρα Le Muse έχει η εξαιρετική σοπράνο Daniela Placci, ενώ διευθύνεται από τον πιανίστα, ιδρυτή της ορχήστρας και μαέστρο Andrea Albertini.

The world-renowned melodies of the great Italian composer and conductor Ennio Morricone come to life in a spectacular concert featuring the acclaimed Italian female ensemble LE MUSE and Morricone’s iconic soprano Susanna Rigacci, who performed alongside the Maestro in his concerts around the world for over twenty years.

Audiences will experience unforgettable music from some of the most celebrated films in cinema history, including Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Malèna, Once Upon a Time in the West, Sacco and Vanzetti, Once Upon a Time in America, and many more.

Enhancing this extraordinary musical journey, images and scenes from films by Sergio Leone, Federico Fellini, Giuseppe Tornatore, and Francis Ford Coppola will be projected throughout the performance, creating a unique and immersive concert experience.

During his remarkable career, Ennio Morricone captivated audiences worldwide and received numerous prestigious honors, including two Academy Awards, three Grammy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, two European Film Awards, the Golden Lion, and many other international distinctions. With more than 70 million records sold worldwide, his compositions have inspired generations and established him as the most influential film music composer of all time.

This tribute concert is a heartfelt celebration of the legacy of one of the greatest composers in the history of cinema.

The Italian ensemble Le Muse is composed exclusively of female musicians, many of whom previously performed with the renowned orchestra Rondò Veneziano. Alongside their extensive classical music backgrounds, they possess a unique sensitivity and understanding of Morricone’s music, celebrated for its extraordinary ability to evoke emotions and bring cinematic images to life.

Originally created in 2016 following Ennio Morricone’s Academy Award recognition, this tribute received the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and has been recognized as one of the most representative tributes to the Maestro worldwide. Since then, it has been successfully presented throughout Europe, as well as in North America and Asia.

A special artistic role within the ensemble belongs to the outstanding soprano Daniela Placci, while the orchestra is conducted by its founder, pianist, and musical director Andrea Albertini.
